    • Patrick O'Brien and Mary Roach were married at Notre-Dame de Quebec Church on November 15, 1831 by Father Patrick McMahon, the first chaplain of Saint Patrick's Church. (Construction for the first Saint Patrick's Church began in October 1831 on McMahon Street - the church was consecrated in 1833).

Marriage records show that Patrick's parents were Patrick O'Brien and Anastasia Corrigan. Mary Roach's parents were John Roach and Margaret Cavanagh. John Roach, Nicolas Roach and Anastasia Benny all signed as witnesses at the wedding.
